Pro Vice-Chancellor
Prof. Rama Bhargava has a teaching and research experience of 43 years at IIT Roorkee, the oldest institute in Asia. She has produced 22 Ph.D's and 75 Master Thesis and more than 140 papers in Internationals Journals. In spite of being selected in IAS in 1979, she went for her passion of teaching and research. She is a DAAD fellow, Australian Endeavour executive awardee and INSA fellow (Royal Society of London). She has vivid administration experience in IIT Roorkee as the Head, Deptt. of Mathematics, Head QIP, Dean Admin, member BOG and member of Institute Finance Committee. She has visited many countries and chaired many technical sessions globally. She is well known in her field of CFD and has done many research projects sponsored by NBHM, ISRO, DST, and AICTE.

Haridwar University, since its inception, is known for multi-dimensional growth in teaching and a unique mission of developing qualified technocrats. HU provides overall development of the personality of young budding engineers, entrepreneurs in pharmacy, agriculture, management and research. Our main emphasis is on imparting innovation, deep learning and professionalism in accordance with the state of art. Unique teaching methodologies with various value added programs foster the students with application oriented thinking, to serve the country in a better way. In order to maintain synchronism with fast pace of technology development, HU is working actively on simulation of human intelligence process with computer using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for the students. With the alumni of HU, the university is getting its recognition globally.
