Bharat Ko Jaano Competition was organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Uttarakhand West Province in the auditorium of Haridwar University, in which speaking as the chief guest, the Chancellor of Haridwar University Satyendra Gupta said that the students participating in the competition have to move forward by getting educated for their bright future, at the same time they will also have to advance their art and talent by participating in sports and competitions.
Today there is no dearth of talented students in our state, the only need is that they should be encouraged towards sports and arts and by organizing such competitions, students get an opportunity to move forward and the feeling of patriotism is also awakened in them. Giving his best wishes to all, he said that all the students should move ahead and progress in the field of education and art. In the hospitality of the main branch Roorkee, under the chairmanship of the provincial president of Bharat Ko Jaano Competition “Bharatagyo Bhava”, Mrs. Nisha Agarwal, the presidents of both the branches Anil Jain and Preeti Agarwal jointly welcomed everyone by giving angavastra, garlands and planters. The competition started after lighting of lamps and singing Vande Mataram. The program supervisor was Alok Bhatnagar, regional secretary, environment. The program was conducted by regional secretary, contact, Dr. Satyendra Mittal. The state’s social branches participated in this competition. The competition was held in both junior and senior categories, which was conducted by Satyendra Mittal and Alok Gupta. All the participating children looked excited during this.
First place was secured by Ayush Rawat and Simran of Yogi Mangalnath Roorkee, contact branch Roorkee, in the senior category and Aarav Bisht and Ekaaksha of Baluni Public School Shakuntalam branch Kotdwar, in the junior category. Both these teams will represent the state in the Bharat Ko Jaano competition to be held at the regional level. The jury comprised Sugandh Jain, Mamta Chandra, Pankaj Garg, Rajni, Radhika, Pradeep Agarwal, Shubha, Neelam, Rama, Varnit. Regional Joint Secretary Sharad Chandra, Regional Secretary Service Brij Prakash Gupta, Meenakshi Agrawal, Lalit Pandey as well as National Executive Women’s Participation Members Dr. Sangeeta Singh, Ravindra Kapoor, Manisha Singhal, Anil Maheshwari etc. were prominently present. In their blessings, the guests told the students the formulae for making life successful. Branch members Dr. Bhargav, Rama Bhargav, Neeraj Mittal, Ajay Agrawal, Chaurasia, Shailendra, Dinesh Saini, Mamta, Deepali, Sanjay, Shalini Jain, Shashi Jain etc. extended their cooperation in making the program successful.
