Dehradun 2 October 2024, Tula Institute Dehradun organized a two-day national level hackathon ‘Hackers’ from 30 September to 1 October 2024. In which teams from various technical and engineering institutes across the country participated. Three teams of Haridwar University Roorkee actively participated in this hackathon, in which the team named ‘Ecovector’ performed brilliantly and secured fourth place. This team included promising members like Askanda Darshna Ojha, Mallika Dhal, Prateek Kumar and Vishvajeet Kumar.
This prestigious national hackathon was organized by Tula Institute in collaboration with Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USRC). The main objective of the program was to promote technical education and provide a platform to young talents where they can present their innovative ideas as solutions to real problems. Also, the goal of this competition was to provide the participants an opportunity to hone their technical skills, learn new technologies, and apply their theoretical knowledge practically. A total of 90 teams participated in this two-day hackathon, in which teams from prestigious institutions like IIT Roorkee also registered their presence. This competition saw a lot of participation of students from various universities, engineering institutes and technical colleges, which made the level of competition even more challenging and exciting.
During the hackathon, participants got the opportunity to work on solutions to real problems using the latest technologies and tools. The competition covered multiple categories covering important topics such as environment, health, education, smart cities, and artificial intelligence. Participants developed their projects through teamwork and collaboration, encouraging the spirit of innovation.
This effort of Tula Institute not only succeeded in enhancing the technical and creative capabilities of the students but also provided new opportunities for technical exchange and networking among various institutions. This event gave the students a golden opportunity to implement their ideas towards solving real-world problems, making them more confident and competent in the future.
