MoU was done between Haridwar University and Uttarakhand Sanskrit University. Let us inform you that Haridwar University, established in the year 2023, is a state private university and is recognized by UGC under Section 2 (F). The university has strong infrastructure, modern support of teaching-learning equipment, qualified and learned faculty members and ample opportunities for research, innovation, ethical values, professional ethics, projects and value-added courses.
Uttarakhand Sanskrit University is a state university established by the Government of Uttarakhand in the year 2005. It is recognized by UGC under Section 2 (F) and 12 (B) and undertakes teaching and research for preservation and dissemination. In search of excellence in research, innovation and dissemination of knowledge in the field of value addition of Sanskrit language, ethical values, ancient Indian ritual practices and professional ethics, to generate mutual benefit within the framework of openness, fairness, equality. To enhance the quality of education, both the universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding for academic and research cooperation. The objective of this MoU is to provide a framework for active collaboration on research and academic activities of both the institutions.
The objective of the MoU is to strengthen mutual understanding, promote friendly cooperation and promote sustainable and productive research collaboration and supervision. The MoU will also include exchange of faculty/scientists and students from both sides. On this MoU, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Dinesh Chandra Shastri ji on behalf of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University said that by this agreement both the universities agree to promote the following activities in pursuance of the MoU, within the framework of the provisions of the respective Act/Law/Ordinance/Regulations applicable in each institution and subject to the availability of resources. The specialities of both the universities can also be exchanged. On this occasion, the President of Haridwar University, Satendra Kumar Gupta said that the university will always keep organizing such contracts, technical training, expert lectures and workshops from time to time for all the students. The Registrar of the University, Lt. Sumit Chauhan, Pro Vice Chancellor BM Singh etc. were present.
