AI Lab

Today, an increasing number of firms across all sectors rely on artificial intelligence approaches to drastically improve their goods, operations, and services. The usage of these technologies, such as machine learning, necessitates cutting-edge technology and highly qualified personnel. The expansion of artificial intelligence is hampered by a severe dearth of competent workers and a lack of crucial technologies in the form of a laboratory in many businesses.

In these Labs, academics from several disciplines collaborate with professionals from public and commercial companies, governments, and other knowledge institutions to create new knowledge and applications. Artificial intelligence (AI), one of the most essential digital future subjects, is now witnessing a significant increase in all disciplines of science, economics, technology, health care, and entertainment.

Despite its initial peak in the 1950s, its present success can be attributed to the rapid advancement of computer technology. Thus, current hardware accelerators such as graphics processing units (GPUs) can now manage large amounts of data (Big Data) in an effective and efficient manner. Many businesses throughout the world have already recognised the immense potential of AI.

AI Laboratory

Our theme-based Labs focus on particular areas such as transportation, health, and animal welfare, and contribute directly to relevant AI solutions while emphasizing ethics and openness. We are contributing to a greater alignment of education and professional practice by working closely together in the AI Labs with academics and field specialists.

The AI Lab's Objectives

To discover novel research directions in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Big Data Analytics.

To encourage students to submit research articles, patents, and launch start-ups on campus/university.

Trained to integrate Students, developers, data scientists, and researchers to creates a multidisciplinary environment.

To develop and deploy distributed systems for information exploitation, collaboration, and decision making.

Data-intensive agent-based solutions provide students and professors with high-quality education and practical skills.

To assist in developing ties with industry for internships, summer jobs, publications, and student placements.

Create, improve, and implement tactics to spread the concept across students and educators.

Civil Lab

The goal of the Civil Engineering lab is to equip students with a strong academic exposure as well as a practical hands-on approach to addressing the difficult difficulties in the field of civil engineering.

Mechanical Lab

Practical experimentation and testing are the foundations of modern engineering practice. Laboratory work is essential for developing a fundamental knowledge of how materials, parts, components, or systems will react in a range of situations. As such, mechanical engineering students must be able to function efficiently in this environment.

This laboratory provides a fundamental grasp of structural members under load. Students will observe changes in structural behavior as a result of load application. The fundamentals of determinate structures will be presented through experimentation.

The primary objective of any building is to support the loads placed on it by appropriately transferring them to the foundation. Students will be able to calculate internal and external forces, as well as displacements caused by the application of loads, in order to ensure the structural safety. A detailed analysis will be undertaken to identify the bending moments, shear force, axial forces, and so on at the appropriate section.

Electrical & Electronics Lab

The basic Electrical and Electronics laboratory is used to conduct experiments relating to the foundations of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, It is a basic field that studies electrical concepts in order to construct machines, devices, and systems. This Lab covers all of the basic gadgets that serve as the foundation for nearly all electronic and electrical equipment and constitutes solid foundation for students.

Electronics & Communication Lab

Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with electronic devices, circuits, and communication equipment such as transmitters, receivers, and integrated circuits (IC). It also covers fundamental electronics, analogue and digital data transmission and reception, audio and video (for example, AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennas, and wave propagation.

It aims to improve students' knowledge and skills in basic concepts and theories that will help them in their professional work involving analysis, system implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of various applications in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Research Laboratory

This laboratory is used to create materials (crystalline, polycrystalline, amorphous, and nano-scale). Characterization facilities include conductivity testing, band-gap determination, and acoustical tests. The necessary computational research and associated tools are also accessible.

Agriculture Lab

The four-year degree program in B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture at HU seeks to offer agricultural students both theoretical and practical elements. To provide students with practical quality education as per state of academics, several laboratories in the agriculture department are established that help them grow practically, one of which is the soil testing lab, which assists local farmers in testing the productivity level of their fields' soil.

To keep up with the changing times in the area of medical plants, the Department maintains a Herbal Garden with a variety of therapeutic plant species. Students have firsthand experience in identifying medicinal plants and herbs, as well as cultivating and collecting them.

AI can be introduced in agricultural sector to increase productivity of the crop per square meter area by using various latest trending technologies.
