What is a Digital Locker?

A Digital Locker is a secure online platform that allows students to store, access, and share their academic documents and credentials. It provides a paperless way to manage important educational records such as certificates, marksheets, and transcripts.

At Haridwar University, we have integrated our Digital Locker system with the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) to provide students with a comprehensive solution for managing their academic journey.

Academic Bank of Credits (ABC)

Under the National Education Policy-2020, the Government of India has introduced the "Academic Bank of Credits" (ABC) system to enable students across the nation with greater academic flexibility.

The ABC system allows students to:

  • Pick and modify their educational paths according to their interests and goals
  • Link diverse disciplines for a more holistic education
  • Build the proper foundations and building blocks for their ambitions

The ABC is an educational digital platform created to facilitate students' seamless mobility between or within degree-granting Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) through a formal system of credit recognition, credit accumulation, credit transfers, and credit redemption to promote distributed and flexible teaching and learning.

The ABC platform provides students (having a DigiLocker account) with the opportunity to register for a unique ABC ID, an interactive dashboard to see their credit accumulation, and options to begin a choice-based credit transfer mechanism.
