Revised Reporting Schedule for Academic Session 2026–27 & Postponement of Back Paper Examination

Dear Parents and Students,

This is to inform all concerned that the Academic Session 2026–27 was originally scheduled to commence from 19 July 2026.

However, due to the Kanwar Yatra, extensive traffic diversions and road closures will remain in force across Uttarakhand during this period. The University has received numerous requests from parents and students expressing genuine concerns regarding travel difficulties and seeking a revision of the reporting schedule.

Keeping in view the safety, convenience, and welfare of the students, the matter was placed before the Academic Excellence Committee.

After detailed deliberations, the Committee has approved the following revised schedule:
Revised Reporting Schedule/
Reporting of Second Year, Third Year & Final Year Students
•    31 August 2026(Monday)
•    01 September 2026(Tuesday)
Commencement of Regular Classes
02 September 2026(Wednesday)

Back Paper Examination
The Back Paper Examination has also been postponed.
The tentative schedule for the Back Paper Examination shall commence from 31 August 2026. The detailed examination schedule will be notified separately through the official communication channels of the University.

Important Instructions
•    Students are advised not to report to the University before the revised reporting dates.
•    Kindly plan your travel as per the revised schedule.
•    Utilize this additional time effectively for academic preparation and revision.
•    Students appearing in Back Paper Examinations are advised to prepare thoroughly and regularly visit the University website/ERP portal/official whatsap Group for further updates.

The University appreciates the patience and cooperation of all students and parents and wishes everyone a safe journey and a successful academic session.
