Etymology & Meaning

What Does "Aavishkar" Mean?

Aavishkar is the Sanskrit / Hindi term for invention, discovery, or original creation — the courageous act of conceptualizing and constructing something impactful that did not exist before.

Our Core Purpose

To take engineering, computer applications, pharmacy-technology, and science students far beyond the textbook syllabus through practical building, rapid prototyping, and spirited competitive hackathons. Aavishkar is the beating heart of maker culture at Haridwar University.
