Etymology & Meaning

What Does "Sahyog" Mean?

Sahyog is a revered Hindi / Sanskrit word signifying cooperation, support, mutual assistance, and collective action. The name embodies the core philosophy of the club: university students, faculty members, and community neighbors extending supportive hands to uplift one another.

Our Core Purpose

To channel the vibrant energy and compassion of Haridwar University students into structured, impactful community service, while simultaneously nurturing the spiritual harmony and psychological wellness of the entire university fraternity. Drawing strength from Haridwar's historic spiritual heritage and the academic prowess of our health-science faculties, Sahyog builds socially committed leaders.
